it's a matter of time

finding time to follow all the steps, figure out how stuff works then write an essay on how something works (or doesnt) and why, is too much like school.

So I've chosen to play at my own pace. Most of my stuff here has been done on my own time. It's taking way more time than I expected. Perhaps there are those who can figure stuff out and then determine if they like it or not and then write about it quickly and easily, but I'm not one of them.

it takes me a long time to slog through all the assignments.

it's more than one 'thing' a week and each one takes more than a couple minutes or even 30 minutes. some assignments take hours to sift through...to be assigned 'write something' is like saying 'create a tree from this acorn' for me.

when something that's supposed to be fun becomes onerous and more like drudgery, it stops being fun.

I appreciate the effort put into planning and executing this project. But I just don't have the time.

Okay, not really doing the project anymore

but I'm now officially a Delicious user!

I have 3 pages of bookmarks, and have started wading through them to see which ones I want to use and which I will 'unbookmark'.
