omgs how fun is this! #11

I just added a Library widget with my 'what I've read' list...

RSS feeds #9

I'd already created an RSS feed with a blog I'm following on OWhatAGeek, using the Google blogging feature included with blogger.

I don't think there's a way to make that feed public. I'll have to see. When I log into my google account, I see the feed I'm following as well as . Here's the screen shot

LOL!! #10 Generator Blog Rocks!

I found Generator Blog very entertaining. I went to the Vampire Name Generator and here's the results:

The Great Archives determine you to have gone by the identity:
Patience Fry
Known in some parts of the world as:
Demon of Bukovina
The Great Archives Record:
An elderly mortal who did not want to die.
I had already found the Trading Card generator and created one for assignment #5

Assignment #7

I created a blog for my family/extended family this week. I used blogger.

it all started when my oldest daughter mentioned on the phone she wished there was a way she could share photos with all the family without having them 'hanging out in public' for the world to see. I offered to set up a closed blog for us.

so you'll have to take my word I set it up. How I did it, however, was fun and interesting and a learning experience.

I created Wolfie's Family, set it to only be allowed viewing by my children (via email addresses) and made them admins. They in turn can add 'authors' and 'members' of their choosing and upload images of family/children for grandparents, cousins, aunts/uncles and dear friends to see and comment on. Authors can blog. Members can comment and read

this morning I included a special email addy (that blogger lets you create) where authors/admins can send a post via email and it's automatically blogged. Very handy!

I recommend you give it a try, for those whose families are scattered all over the place.

trading card anyone? #6
